Plenty of Options. Stop Dreaming. Act NOW!

With a boundary line in excess of 15 km this property has a multitude of possibilities and options. Ranging from beautiful bush clad creeks and downs areas beginning at 350 meters above sea level (MASL) to 1,080 MASL on the Seaward Kaikoura Ranges this is a unique property. There are such numerous sites where a house, lodge or escape bunker could be sited that discussing or showing some would only scratch the surface. Unfortunately the homestead was damaged in the Kaikoura Earthquake sequence and has only been partly repaired so is sold on an "As Is, Where Is" basis. There is a remote hut hidden in the bush at about 750 MASL, this could remain or be upgraded. A high spec'd hunting lodge could be established on a site very close by. High quality lodges could be sited in so many spots that you are spoilt for choice and they are all very private, but still close to Puhi Puhi Valley Road. Most of the property is in its native state of grasslands with Manuka and Kanuka giving a honey income from 1,000 hives as well as the usual species found in Coastal Podocarp Forests, native bird life of course abounds. An area of approximately 31 ha has been deer fenced into 7 paddocks and a lane leading to the basic set of deer yards. This has been utilised to attract and capture part of the wild population of deer (Red & Fellow) that is actually too numerous and this is a productive way to gain income by selling the animals while reducing the wild numbers. They are attracted by the developed and fertilized pastures that have been established in the deer farm. On the eastern side of the Puhi Puhi River the property rises to 900 MASL on a limestone ridge, the bulk of this is fairly open tussock country with native bush patches as well as Manuka and Kanuka This is contained in the smaller of the two titles being 287.6 ha. This block offers views looking into the balance of the property running up onto the Seaward Kaikoura Range, as well as down the coast to Kaikoura and beyond. There are numerous options and locations on the property to develop some unique accommodation facilities. Be they lodges to share with paying guests or private getaways so that you can have complete privacy and peace. It could be on a ridge with 'million dollar' views or hidden in the bush where no one will find you. The choices are numerous and varied. To see real hunting action on the property an episode of Hunting Aotearoa (Series 17 Episode 1) was filmed on the property, go to https://www.tvnz.co.nz/shows/hunting-aotearoa/episodes/s17-e1 and view it.
