I feel fortunate to have grown up in a farming family on the outskirts of a small rural town in the Far North with Mum, Dad, and my three siblings. It is from these humble beginnings that sparked the satisfaction I feel from good, honest, hard work.
From becoming head boy of my High School, to accepting an offer to become part of the New Zealand Army as an Officer, then furthering my education at Massey University have all led me to where I am today. All these parts of my life have taught me skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management among many others.
I moved to Wellington over 14 years ago and pursued a career in Real Estate shortly after, having now had my license for over 12 years. A drive to carry out real estate at the highest level still lights a fire within me. I couldn’t think of a career I would rather be involved in. Any awards won or recognition garnered is just a bonus.
Outside of Real Estate, I live in Wellington with my wife Amy and my son Kiaan. Becoming a Dad has been my greatest achievement to date. I am a social person and have a good sense of humor - I have been known to pull a few harmless pranks in my time!
I find great enjoyment in physical exercise; I have represented to a regional and national level in Swimming, Rugby and Triathlons. Currently, I pursue Crossfit as an outlet for energy where I have competed among the best in NZ. Being a little older now, I would be the first to admit it is getting a little harder to compete with the guys 10 – 15 years my junior (especially trying to work through a long-standing niggling injury). My discipline, determination, and mental fortitude needed to succeed in sport carry directly through to the real estate industry, helping me to stay very focused throughout the sale until completion and achieve the best result for clients.
This property has been owned by the same person since it was built in the 70's. What an absolute testament to the high quality of living in not only this sought after Ngaio location but in this unit specifically. A very settled and quiet spot.
In an immaculately dated condition, you could easily live in as is or enjoy adding value via upgrades specific to your taste. The conservatory acts as an inbuilt natural heater on sunny days. This is a fantastic possie to sit and while away an afternoon with friends. Leading from the conservatory is spacious living with inbuilt shelving.
Well configured, the kitchen, living and conservatory are positioned on the western side of the home receiving generous afternoon sun. It is a glorious step back in time with the iconic 70's wallpaper and light orange benchtops. You would be tempted to leave it retro. I love it! Ample storage here for all your kitchen items and utensils. The laundry is neatly tucked away behind double doors in this space also.
Both bedrooms are located at the rear and look out onto the grounds. The theme for this home is sun and privacy. Whether you be cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the living or conservatory or just having a late start in bed, at no time are you being looked in on by anyone.
Forget parking troubles or having to park your vehicle on the road. Parking is very well catered for via both a lock up garage and an extra off street park.
Bus stop just around the corner and amenities not much further! Call Kahn to view.
