I feel fortunate to have grown up in a farming family on the outskirts of a small rural town in the Far North with Mum, Dad, and my three siblings. It is from these humble beginnings that sparked the satisfaction I feel from good, honest, hard work.
From becoming head boy of my High School, to accepting an offer to become part of the New Zealand Army as an Officer, then furthering my education at Massey University have all led me to where I am today. All these parts of my life have taught me skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management among many others.
I moved to Wellington over 14 years ago and pursued a career in Real Estate shortly after, having now had my license for over 12 years. A drive to carry out real estate at the highest level still lights a fire within me. I couldn’t think of a career I would rather be involved in. Any awards won or recognition garnered is just a bonus.
Outside of Real Estate, I live in Wellington with my wife Amy and my son Kiaan. Becoming a Dad has been my greatest achievement to date. I am a social person and have a good sense of humor - I have been known to pull a few harmless pranks in my time!
I find great enjoyment in physical exercise; I have represented to a regional and national level in Swimming, Rugby and Triathlons. Currently, I pursue Crossfit as an outlet for energy where I have competed among the best in NZ. Being a little older now, I would be the first to admit it is getting a little harder to compete with the guys 10 – 15 years my junior (especially trying to work through a long-standing niggling injury). My discipline, determination, and mental fortitude needed to succeed in sport carry directly through to the real estate industry, helping me to stay very focused throughout the sale until completion and achieve the best result for clients.
Generous in size and rich in location, the current owners have enjoyed glorious sunsets and basked in sun for close to nine years at 14B Kentwood Drive. Their move will be your gain. Very well looked after, the property has been the beneficiary of a plethora of upgrades over the years.
The kitchen (with its own designated dining space) and both bathrooms have had substantial enhancements. The main living space is located upstairs to maximize sun and take advantage of the spectacular outlook available. A sliding door provides access to a large, recently upgraded deck. A ducted heat pump ensures the home retains warmth in whatever weather Wellington throws our way.
All three bedrooms are generous in size with one bedroom being located on the upper level and the master and third bedroom on the lower. The master contains a walk-through wardrobe and well-appointed bathroom. A sliding door allows access to the yard from the master.
The double garage with its polished concrete floor, ply ceiling and internal access will appease. The laundry is tucked away here also. Whether it be for parking your vehicles, storage or weekend/after work projects, this is a space all will be proud of. Is is also worth noting there is substantial and easily accessed storage space in the roof cavity.
The fully fenced, north facing, outdoors space is relatively low maintenance and provides a great opportunity to clear the head and keep the outdoors looking sharp via a little green fingered work. Tiered over levels, you will be able to make the most of the sunny afternoons at the barbie. A recently tiled outside decking area on the upper level provides another outdoors option with a little more elevation! An outlook you will never get sick of.
Zoned for Newlands College, Newlands Intermediate, Newlands School and Bellevue School. A bus stop almost at the end of the driveway, it is so convenient!
