I feel fortunate to have grown up in a farming family on the outskirts of a small rural town in the Far North with Mum, Dad, and my three siblings. It is from these humble beginnings that sparked the satisfaction I feel from good, honest, hard work.
From becoming head boy of my High School, to accepting an offer to become part of the New Zealand Army as an Officer, then furthering my education at Massey University have all led me to where I am today. All these parts of my life have taught me skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management among many others.
I moved to Wellington over 14 years ago and pursued a career in Real Estate shortly after, having now had my license for over 12 years. A drive to carry out real estate at the highest level still lights a fire within me. I couldn’t think of a career I would rather be involved in. Any awards won or recognition garnered is just a bonus.
Outside of Real Estate, I live in Wellington with my wife Amy and my son Kiaan. Becoming a Dad has been my greatest achievement to date. I am a social person and have a good sense of humor - I have been known to pull a few harmless pranks in my time!
I find great enjoyment in physical exercise; I have represented to a regional and national level in Swimming, Rugby and Triathlons. Currently, I pursue Crossfit as an outlet for energy where I have competed among the best in NZ. Being a little older now, I would be the first to admit it is getting a little harder to compete with the guys 10 – 15 years my junior (especially trying to work through a long-standing niggling injury). My discipline, determination, and mental fortitude needed to succeed in sport carry directly through to the real estate industry, helping me to stay very focused throughout the sale until completion and achieve the best result for clients.
Welcome to a home oozing a traditional design of construction and solidity of build. Couple this with a top tier central Redwood location in Tawa and you have no option but to place it on your open home list. The current owners have spent a very settled and happy 15 + years here, but new horizons for them means a baton passed to a very lucky new owner.
Absolutely soaked in sun through all 365 days of the year, the flat, large and fully fenced yard lends itself perfectly to families spending time together in a safe and secure environment. Set up the BBQ on either of the two decks and relax. Double door access directly to the washing line from the huge laundry space on the lower level.
As the floor plan depicts, the layout of this home works so well. All four bedrooms are of a generous size and are well positioned off the hallway with the well appointed bathroom being located centrally at the rear. Both a shower AND bath cater for younger families. A second w/c adds to convenience.
The main living room with built in fireplace leads through to the dining area. The flexible dining space is so big that it could be used as a designated second tv room if wanted. The spacious kitchen has a power of storage and is large enough to incorporate a dining table.
The tandem double garage has internal access with the aforementioned laundry space also on the lower level. Two off street car parks in front of the garage if necessary. What shouldn't be overlooked is the over 25 sqm of storage space (not including garage) on the lower level. You can never have enough storage!
I can't speak highly enough of the location. Nestled in a popular area that is noted for its substantial family homes. Parks, tennis and squash courts, bush walks, shopping centers, pubs and eateries, children's entertainment, train and bus stops and great schooling are just some of the amenities within VERY close proximity to this well situated property.
