I feel fortunate to have grown up in a farming family on the outskirts of a small rural town in the Far North with Mum, Dad, and my three siblings. It is from these humble beginnings that sparked the satisfaction I feel from good, honest, hard work.
From becoming head boy of my High School, to accepting an offer to become part of the New Zealand Army as an Officer, then furthering my education at Massey University have all led me to where I am today. All these parts of my life have taught me skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management among many others.
I moved to Wellington over 14 years ago and pursued a career in Real Estate shortly after, having now had my license for over 12 years. A drive to carry out real estate at the highest level still lights a fire within me. I couldn’t think of a career I would rather be involved in. Any awards won or recognition garnered is just a bonus.
Outside of Real Estate, I live in Wellington with my wife Amy and my son Kiaan. Becoming a Dad has been my greatest achievement to date. I am a social person and have a good sense of humor - I have been known to pull a few harmless pranks in my time!
I find great enjoyment in physical exercise; I have represented to a regional and national level in Swimming, Rugby and Triathlons. Currently, I pursue Crossfit as an outlet for energy where I have competed among the best in NZ. Being a little older now, I would be the first to admit it is getting a little harder to compete with the guys 10 – 15 years my junior (especially trying to work through a long-standing niggling injury). My discipline, determination, and mental fortitude needed to succeed in sport carry directly through to the real estate industry, helping me to stay very focused throughout the sale until completion and achieve the best result for clients.
Buying a new house or selling your existing home can be a very stressful experience. When employing me as your agent everything I do aims to make the selling/buying experience as stress free and as straightforward as possible for you.
My experience with buying, selling and renovating homes, gives me an insight into what you are experiencing and the best way to work for your benefit. My business philosophy is a win for all involved - the vendor, the buyer and any other agent(s). Keeping my clients, whether vendor or buyer, fully informed from start to finish is paramount..
I work from the Ray White City office and am supported by a great administration team. Working from this office gives me the chance to serve city and suburban clients.
My working background includes Risk Management, Computer Software Sales, Health Marketing and Conservation. Outside of work, I am a guide and volunteer of 26 years at Zealandia – the Karori Sanctuary Experience, member of several other conservation organisations; involved in my local community; a keen skier, mountain/road cyclist, tramper, movie buff and traveller.
As a Wellingtonian, born and bred, who has returned after stints in London, Dunedin and Masterton over the years, I know this city well and am committed to getting you the best deal whether you are upgrading, downsizing or investing.
...And ends with a beautiful home. Sun soaked, 20 Todman Street is a property you will be proud to own and be happy in for many years to come. So close to the Brooklyn village and positioned on a sizeable a flat slice of land, it just works.
Constructed in a timeless and ever popular timber weatherboard style. Three generous bedrooms are complemented by a fourth room at the rear of the yard. This fourth room/space works perfectly for older children. They could use it as sleeping quarters or just a space to hang out with friends.
A timber country style galley kitchen benefits from gas cooking. This leads to a separate laundry space and finally a well-appointed and positioned bathroom that includes a double basin, shower and bath. A second, separate w/c also.
Double bi-fold doors lead out to the sunny deck and grassed rear yard. Fully fenced, this will be an oasis for the family to enjoy all year round. Everyone needs to relax at times, what better place to do that than in your own backyard.
A high stud creates even more of a feeling of space. While extensive insulation, double glazing and two heat pumps help to retain heat and keep warm in the winter time.
Off street parking for two cars with angled parking on street also.
Zoned for the likes of Wellington College, Wellington Girls, Wellington East Girls and Brooklyn School among others.
We look forward to meeting you.
