Bernie started his career as an apprenticed carpenter then progressed to a self-employed Building Contractor. Bernie became known for running a well-organized job and doing quality work. In 1997 he was appointed as Contracts and Project Manager for Design Builder’s Hawkes Bay and over 10 years successfully managed the construction of over 200 Hawkes Bay homes.
Bernie’s extensive experience in project management taught him the art and the importance of; effective open and closed communication, attention to detail, creating and initiating systems that work but at the same time keep things simple.
