Born and bred in Wellington I have over 20 years experience as a top real estate performer. Before joining Leaders, I was with L J Hooker Real Estate who later re-branded to Harveys Real Estate. For the ten years I was with them, I was often their top performer and always in the high achievers club (Top 2% of Salespeople Nationally).
Prior to this my father and I owned another real estate company known as Don Gray Real Estate Ltd. Although this company was successful and I was qualified to run my own business, I decided my strengths lay in selling and in particular the business end where negotiation skills are required to close the deal. The knowledge and training I gained from my father was invaluable.
Preceding real estate, I had several years as a top salesman, negotiator and sales trainer within New Zealand and overseas. My goal is to creatively promote your property so it stands out from the others, especially those with similar features. Once we have the buyers I will endeavour to obtain the top dollar available from the prospective purchasers.
By choosing me to sell your home, I will endeavour to make the sale process trouble free. I will also try to make what can be a stressful experience, an enjoyable one, thereby allowing you to continue with your daily routine.
I look forward to helping you achieve a successful sale and hope to leave you with a positive impression of myself and the real estate industry. Email: stugray@obay.org.nz
Wow! Right in the middle of Thorndon Village with everything on your doorstep: shops, cafes, and restaurants, and just a short stroll to the city, Botanic Gardens, and the Northern Walkway. This two to three bedroom home is the top unit of two in a one-of-a-kind turn-of-the-century villa. Its position means maximum sun, gorgeous light, and charming views - of the village, characterful rooftops, and (on a clear Winter's day) the stunning snow-kissed Tararuas. Two large bedrooms - or one plus a spacious living room - and a third single bedroom, study, or home office. Open plan kitchen, dining and 'snug' (complete with Studio wood burner), backing on to beautiful gated, shared native garden and deck attracting kaka, tui, and kereru. Not your stereotypical apartment, this is a very appealing and convenient city haven.
304 Tinakori Road points of interest - architect: Robert Roy MacGregor, 1903 - known as an 'iron-sider' for its corrugated iron south face - clad as such to prevent spread in the event of a fire - photographed in 1987 by world-renowned Magnum photographer Brian Brake (see blue bedroom) - the 'face' of the Thorndon Fair (held annually the first Sunday in December) - one in a row of six houses, often likened to the 'Painted Ladies' in San Francisco.
